Treatment Coordinator

Dee Shepherd

Dee.jpgI started working in the Orthodontic field 25 years ago. I worked with an orthodontist in Kentucky for a year before joining Dr. Principe in Mount Dora. I now work with Dr. Escott as a treatment coordinator. I have been an avid horsewoman since the age of eight. I have been riding both English and Western, and competing in both, as well as barrel, poles, and cutting. In 2003, I won tenth place in the National Championship in the 25 amateur riding my horse Rippin Little Lena. I presently enjoy trail riding on my walking horses. I have a husband, Jerry, a daughter Gwen, and son-in-law Dave. I have three beautiful grandchildren which are the loves of my life: my dancer Makayla (age 9), my softball player Grace (age 7), and my all boy Colton (age 4). I am blessed that my grandchildren have the love of horses like I do and have become my riding partners.

Clinical Coordinator

Stephanie King

Stephanie.jpgI have been an orthodontic assistant and clinical coordinator for over 20 years. Orthodontics is a wonderful experience and I enjoy helping our patients achieve a confident smile they can be proud to show off. I have enjoyed being part of the wonderful team we have here, and I look forward to helping create confident smiles for many years to come. I am blessed with a wonderful husband, Jesse, and two terrific boys, Sean and Jacob. While orthodontics is my passion, I enjoy spending time reading and hanging out with my friends and family. I look forward to seeing you at your next appointment and helping all of our patients achieve a smile they can be proud to show off for many years.

Elizabeth Croy

Elizabeth.jpgI am the financial advisor and two front-desk patient coordinator. I have lived in Mount Dora since I was seven. I have studied at Lake Sumter State College and I have an Associate’s degree in Medical Billing and Coding. I currently am looking into going back to school to get a Bachelor’s in Medical Office Management. I started working in the orthodontic field two years ago and I have learned so much. I love being able to see how we can transform a patient to have a beautiful smile and watch their confidence grow! I live in Grand Island and I am married to my best friend and soul mate.

Clinical Team

Michele Adams

Michelle.jpgI am a clinical assistant and feel very fortunate to be working with the amazing team at this practice. I enjoy my position because it allows me to meet new families and help make a difference in our patients’ lives by creating wonderful smiles. My husband, Eric, and I have two beautiful daughters, Stephanie and Tiffani, and three amazing grandchildren. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, cookouts, swimming, shopping, working out, and playing golf with my husband.

Christi Brandt

Christi.jpgI have been working in orthodontics for almost 24 years. I enjoy creating a positive experience for our patients by making each office visit as short, comfortable, and fun as possible while providing the best treatment. When I’m not at the practice, I enjoy my family, shelling, and playing with my four dogs. Aside from orthodontics, I always secretly wanted to be a figure skater.

Francisco Corredor

Francisco.jpgFollowing in the path of my mother and two older brothers who are also in the dental field, I studied dentistry and graduated from the Fundacion Universitaria San Martin in Bogota, Colombia in 1995. I traveled to England in 1999 to volunteer for two years at the Royal National College for the Blind. Since 2001, I have been working as a dental and orthodontic assistant in central Florida. I am happy to now be a member of the team here. I enjoy dentistry and orthodontics because I like working with people and helping them achieve a healthy smile for a lifetime. I live in Mount Dora with my wife and two children.

Salvador Madriz

Sal.jpgI am originally from Nicaragua, but grew up in Massachusetts. After high school in Newton, I went on to Quincy Junior College and earned my certificate in dental laboratory technology in 1990. Since this time I have been working as a lab tech and clinical assistant. I enjoy working with patients and fabricating appliances with care for each one of them, but the best part is seeing the result when teeth are made straight and patients are happy to show off their smiles. On my days off I enjoy being with my wife and three kids. I enjoy the beach, watching movies, and playing ping pong, soccer, and tennis.

Jose Ortiz

Jose.jpgI have worked for several years helping patients ever since deciding to change career paths and go to school for dentistry. I completed dental school alongside my wife, Sima. I have spent time in India raising oral cancer awareness and was involved in dental missions treating the underprivileged. On the team here at this practice, I am an orthodontic assistant. I love working out, running, playing soccer and living a healthy lifestyle. In 2011, I ran my first 10k placing 1st in my age group and have run several marathons since. I hope to continue improving and always strive to be the best at whatever I do.

Angel Parillo

Angel.jpgI am a clinical assistant and have been working at this wonderful office since 2012. I enjoy working with patients and helping them improve their smile and confidence. I couldn’t have asked for a better team to work with. I have a son, Justin, who is currently in high school. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the beach, and playing with my two crazy dogs.

Sima Saoji

Sima.jpgI went to school for biomedical sciences at the University of South Florida and graduated dental school abroad. I have participated in a dental outreach program in India teaching oral hygiene to several schools and treating the underprivileged. At this practice, I apply my hard work and caring nature towards being an orthodontic assistant. I have been married to Jose since 2010. I love spending time with my closest friends and my big family. My multicultural background has led me to travel and learn about other cultures and to hopefully spread some smiles across the world while doing so.
